Commodore 128

With the success of the C64, Commodore decided to move up one step in the line of business computers with their Commodore 128.
The C128 was actually not just one, but 3 computers crammed into one:  It had full C64 backwards compatibility running in C64-mode, it could run hundreds of popular CP/M business applications using a built in Z-80 processor and of course, it could run in its native C128-mode supporting better graphichs, better performance over the C64.

Although still very reasonably priced for the fact that you had actually these 3 machines in one, many regarded the C128 as a bit of thing for “Snobs”.
