Commodore 64c
A few years into the production of the C64 (1985 to be precise), Commodore decided to repackage its biggest seller into a new case design, making it look a little more like their new Commodore 128.
Along with the new look also came a new motherboard, sporting fewer ROM chips and less expensive versions of the SID. This was to be my very first Commodore, and it was even the system that I used when I was in college attending my Nuclear Physics classes. Even my first AI programs, using the backpropagation algorithm were made on my C64C! It was also on this machine that I made my first computer games, based on popular TV shows such as “Letters & Numbers”. I didn’t use sprites, but made all the graphics out of PETSCII.
